Ticket-holders attending the sell-out Julia’s House Carols by Candlelight concert in Devizes got a lot more than they bargained for.
For alongside the expected celebrity speakers Penny Junor and Stephanie Cole, mulled wine and mince pies were two unexpected guests – a pair of camels.
Therese and Temujen, were led in by their owner Lady Chichester as the final carol was being sung and then posed by the pulpit for the remainder of the service.
Afterwards there was a chance for guests to pet the pair and pose with them for photos.
