The bad weather didn't stop hundreds of people attending Salisbury's Christmas Lights switch on at the Guildhall.
Hosted by Spire FM and BBC Wiltshire, The X-Factor's District 3 and Spire FM's 'Search for a Star' winner, Laura Twomey-Hunt, wowed the crowds with festive songs. Father Christmas and possibly the world's tallest elf helped to switch on the lights.
Luckily the rain held off until after the event had finished!
