Family portraits...  

From experience these two words can either be music to your ears or fill you with dread!

Most people fall into one of two categories, either you love having your picture taken or you don't.  Usually Mummy and the children love having their pictures taken but Daddy doesn't (this isn't always the case but more often than not in our experience).

And in this age of camera phones and tablet computers it is so easy to quickly capture pictures of your children at home or out and about, but much of the time these pictures stay hidden on our devices or put onto facebook.

Our children grow up so quickly and while it's great that we can capture precious moments quickly with our camera phones one of the family tends to be missing from the shot because they are taking the picture and there isn't always someone else around to take the picture for you so that the whole family can be in the shot.

Having a five year old son we know how quickly children grow up and looking back we simply don't have many pictures of us altogether.  This is why a family portrait shoot from Simon Ward Photography is the perfect way to capture those precious moments that go in the blink of an eye.

A studio or location based family portrait shoot with us is fun, relaxed and dare we say it, enjoyable too!  We always put the kettle on and we'll have a chat about what you want from the shoot to ensure we capture the images you'll love.  Our shoots:

• last for up to 90 minutes either in the studio or at an outdoor location of your choice.  
• come with a password-protected online gallery of all of your edited images.  

Afterwards you can choose from our wide range of photo gifts including framed prints, canvases, aluminis and photo cubes and calendars.  The vast majority of our products are made in the UK.  Alternatively you could have a selection of images edited and presented to you in high resolution on a CD or USB for your own use.

Christmas will soon be here and with shoots starting from only £50.00, having a family portrait shoot with us can be a great way of sorting Christmas presents for your family and friends too.  We also offer gift vouchers and thee can be a great way of giving the whole family a treat they'll be able to look back on for years to come.
